i have done both yes, the cruise helper works but is messy and has another module and cable to deal with, my cruise is just a small both with a few connections inside the truck and plugs into teh ford pedal and works with out throttle module. the older servo are slow to react on hills and resume, my digital module is instant to respond. i have a customer right now working out the mods on the early cm845/846 ecm's as well which will expand teh fitment.
